Step 1

If you need to support the cyclorama with a floor, you will need to begin by creating the base. Since we wanted our floor to be a little over 2ft. off the ground, we used a chop saw to cut 6×6 studs to a length of 24 inches.

Step 2

Measure out 1×1 foot squares onto three quarter inch plywood. Cut each square using a circular saw.

Step 3

Drill a 2 inch screw through the plywood squares into the bottom of the studs. This will create the stands in which your floor will be supported by. We placed each stand two feet apart from one another across the ground.

Step 4

Lay 2×4′s over the base stands, drilling 2 inch screws into the top of each stud. Under each row, secure another 2×4 row perpendicularly to the top 2×4′s.
